Mark SooHoo has been leading marketing, communications, and online organizing for over 20 years working with healthcare, medical device, and pharmaceutical companies following a decade in politics. He has led teams in the U.S. and Middle East, with particular emphasis on digital communications including social business planning, marketing technology, targeted advertising, social media, and content marketing.
Prior to Meteorite, the social impact firm that powers the Health Action Alliance, Mark served as VP of Marketing and Communications for Ventec Life Systems, a medical device manufacturer that increased production of critical care ventilators 80x in response to COVID-19. He was the Executive Director of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association Digital Communications team where he was responsible for content, online intelligence, and digital channels.
He has worked as a consultant with Edelman and Burson-Marsteller for clients including Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Astellas, and many others leading integrated communications teams in the U.S. and abroad. He spent the first decade of his career developing digital strategies for political campaigns and organizations across the United States. Mark ran online operations at the 2004 and 2008 Republican National Conventions and was deputy eCampaign director for John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign.
